An Art Deco period "waterfall" design bedroom set from the late 1930's includes a queen size bed, two nightstands and a tall chest or highboy. Shimmering matched mahogany, walnut burl and zebra wood have an excellent renewed finish on this American made vintage furniture, signed "Showers Bros., Bloomington, Ind."
Expertly adapted to fit a standard queen size mattress as show, the bed measures 64" wide and 87" long, the headboard is 55" tall and the footboard is 24" tall. Wood support slats are included, the demonstrator mattress and spring unit shown is 19" thick together.
Drawers have solid oak dovetailed sides and hardware with bakelite inserts.
The pair of nightstands is 14" wide, 18" deep and 25" tall. Highboy size is 34" wide, 18" deep and 50" tall.
