Art Deco Waterfall Queen Size 5 Pc. Vintage 1930's Bedroom Set, Bakelite #30455

A five piece late 1930's Art Deco "waterfall" design bedroom set includes a queen size bed, tall chest, dresser with mirror and pair of nightstands. Matched mahogany, walnut and burl have beautiful figured diamond matched grain and zebra wood banding. There are slight variations among the pieces, see photos.

The restored shimmering finish is in excellent condition preserving a few irregularities for a little character as shown. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints. Pulls have bakelite inserts on this American made vintage furniture.

The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress. A demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos are 18" thick together. Wood cross supports are included as shown.

Bed measurements are 89" long, 65" wide, the headboard is 57" high and the footboard is 23" high.

The tall chest has large drawers. Size is 32" wide, 19" deep and 50" tall. Dresser size is 42" wide, 19" deep and 66" tall including the mirror.

Nightstand size is 13" wide, 19" deep and 28" tall.
