An authentic sideboard or buffet from the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period was expertly made about 1905. Fine grained quarter sawn oak has a deep brown finish that is excellent, with wonderful warm color and patina. There are minor mars at the edges, a stain on the top and small shrinkage separations from age, see photos. The beveled mirror in the gallery is original, as are the coppery ring pulls.
The upper right drawer still has its dividers and velvet lining for silverware. Drawers are dovetailed and fit well. This American classic antique furniture has an original label on the back signed "Rockford Desk Co., Rockford Ill."
Size is 42" wide, 20" deep, 51" tall, and the top surface is 38" above the floor.
