A classic Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period library table or writing desk dates from about 1905, and has a pull out writing area with pen rests and a glass and bakelite inkwell.
Solid quarter sawn oak, the lustrous finish is superb on this American made antique. Coppery patinated hardware is authentic on three drawers. This furniture is unsigned, but looks very much like the work of the Cadillac Desk. Co. of Cadillac, Michigan, famous for this style of desk.
Size is 45" long, 28" deep, 31" tall and legroom is 24 1/2" underneath.
