If this piece could speak, oh the stories it could tell! Handcrafted in Sweden around 1750, this secretary desk and bookcase is a beautiful addition to your workspace.
- Antique oak furniture with fantastic rosewood & beech inlay
- Old finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations, old repairs, & interior has three missing drawer knobs - see photos
- Later brass & wrought iron hardware
- Working locks with 4 keys, locks must be in an "unlatched" position to open or close.
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Upper section has fixed wood shelves & a wine glass rack
- Top & bottom disassemble
Size is 46.5" wide, 22.5" deep and 78.5" tall. Surface is 26.5" high.
