Salvaged from a ship, this solid brass compass with a glass dome appears to work accurately.
Signed "John E. Hand & Sons of Baltimore, Philadelphia and N.J., Hansphere," the floating dial is under glass.
The removable cover has a viewing slot on this nautical instrument from about 80 years ago.
Measurements are 10" diameter and 10" tall.
