A butcher's chopping block from about 1900 was crafted of dozens of blocks of hard rock maple dovetailed together. It could function as a kitchen island or a wine and cheese tasting table.
Well worn from a century of use, this American made antique furniture has an excellent finish on the sides and base, preserving lots of mars and dings for antique character.
The top has a food safe oil finish. Size is 31" square and 33 1/2" tall.
