Carved 1930's Lamp or Center Table, Rose Marble

Lavishly carved in the 1930's, this exquisite lamp or center table has a beautifully figured rose marble top. The gracefully curved maple and mahogany frame is strong and secure, the original finish is in beautiful condition, subtly accented in gold.
Famous Portuguese marble has been polished and sealed to resist staining, there are tiny flakes at the edges, see photo. Patinated bronze banding surrounds the lower shelf. American made furniture, size is 25" square and 28 1/2" tall.
