Richly carved with cherubs riding sea horses and an inlaid burl and banded top, this 1920's era manor house hunt board, server or credenza is boldly scaled. The deep, rich finish is excellent. Design was inspired by Italian Renaissance masters. High relief carving in solid walnut, lion paw feet, and deep moldings are stellar. This quality American made furniture was made by Empire of Rockford, Ilinois.
Dovetailed drawers have solid oak sides and are finished inside. Lion head brasses are original on this stellar quality American made furniture, signed by "Empire of Rockford, Ill."
