Carved Dining Set, 6 Chairs, Oval Banded Table

The traditional elegance of this lovely carved dining set is pefect for a smaller dining room. It includes a banded top table with one leaf, plus 6 newly upholstered chairs. Expertly crafted of mahogany and maple hardwoods about 1930, all pieces are completely solid and finishes are superb.

Understated carving adds interest to this vintage American furniture. The table top is exquisite curly mahogany with satin wood edge banding, the matching leaf also has a carved apron. Six matching chairs include a host's chair with arms, all are newly padded and upholstered.

Table measurements are 43" wide, 31" tall with 26" of legroom, closed length is 5'6" long, with the large leaf in place, length is 7'2." Size of the 5 comfortable sidechairs is 22" wide, 23" deep and 38" tall, the armchair is 25" wide, 25" deep and 39" tall.
