Elegant but understated, this three piece bedroom set was hand carved of solid oak about 1900, and includes a full side bed, marble top chest or dresser and nightstand.
The original finish is remarkably well preserved on this antique furniture from Austria. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina.
Drawers have hand cut dovetails and original brass pulls. The vine and cherry motif and gentle curves are charming.
The bed has modern steel rails and wood slats underneath are furnished to accommodate a standard modern full or double size mattress and spring unit as shown.
The bed measures 56" wide and 80" long. The HB is 53' tall and the FB is 34" tall. The marble top chest measures 45 1/2" wide, 21" deep and 32" tall. The nightstand is 16" square and 32 1/2" tall.
