A spectacular oak triple bookcase was hand crafted in Germany about 1900, with spiral columns and beveled glass doors. Entirely hand carved in high relief, the artistry of this palatial furniture is masterful.
This heroic display cabinet is completely original except for the top of the base cabinet, which has been revarnished for durability.
Waxed and buffed, the gleaming finish has been waxed and polished, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its warm patina.
Construction shows exceptional quality throughout - doors swing on brass piano hinges, shelves adjust on wooden supports and lower doors have raised panels. Original embossed and burnished brass hardware includes working locks.
Two separate pieces for easier moving, size is 6' 8" wide, 27" deep and 7' 2" tall.
