A solid cedar chest from the 1940's has copper bindings and a working lock, and is finished all around, so it could be used as a coffee table.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made vintage furniture. Cedar was prized because it repelled moths and other insects, protecting blankets and other woolens.
Measurements are 49" long, 21" deep and 17 1/2" tall.
