A sweet little oval chairside table for a drink and a book dates from about 60 years ago. Solid fruitwood is carved in the Louis XVI manner with a marble top and pierced brass gallery.
The original finish is very well preserved on this vintage furniture, the marble has minor scratches and stains, see photos. No maker's signature survives.
Size is 16" x 13" and 18" tall.
