Cherry Narrow Vintage Secretary Desk & Bookcase

About 50 years old, this narrow cherry secretary desk with a bookcase or display top was crafted in the Georgian manner.

The original finish is very well preserved with little wear, there is a slight discoloration on the bottom of the left side, see photos. Embossed brasses are original. Upper shelves have grooves to display plates, if desired.

Inside the drop front are cubicles for letters and papers on this American made vintage furniture. Drawer fronts are gracefully bowed, solid oak sides have dovetailed joints. The upper section is separate for easier moving.

Dimensions are 27" wide, 18" deep, 80" tall and the desktop is 29" high.
