Hand crafted about 1850 of solid cherry, this classic corner cabinet was said to be from Pennsylvania. The finish is in very fine condition, preserving just enough stains and mars for antique character.
Door panes are mostly old wavy glass, corner joints have carved wooden pegs. The rough sawn back has a few original square cut nails. Lower door panels are hand chamfered and raised, there is a slight warp to the bottom left door, see photos. Upper shelves have grooves to display plates if desired.
Two separate pieces for easier moving the feet and crown have been rebuilt on this American made furniture.
Size is 53" wide across the crown, 76" tall, the side is 37" from the corner of the room to the front tip of the crown.
