A vintage screen from China has six panels with musicians, all hand carved of three dimensional jade and other hard stones. The black lacquer background is hand painted, as is the garden scene on the reverse.
About 50 years old, there are minor touchups, losses and mars for a little character, see photos. Each framed panel is 18" wide, 2" deep and 75" tall, so stretched flat, width is 9' and if folded accordion style as shown, about 7' wide.
