Chinese Jade & Hardstone Painted Lacquer Screen

Genuine jade and hardstone are hand carved to create a three-dimensional design on black lacquer, accented with hand painting and mother-of-pearl inlay. A classical Chinese artistry creation this four-panel screen is perhaps 50-75 years old.
The front has a formal garden scene with pagodas and wildlife, the reverse has traditional hand-painted foliage with birds. There are minor chips to the natural stone, plus small mars, shrinkage lines, and touchups to the black lacquer. Feet are brass, and a lacquered plaque is engraved "Made in Tianjin, China."
Size of this exquisite work of art is 6' tall, 1" thick, and four 16" wide panels extend to 5'4" long when stretched out flat.
