This style of country pantry cabinet was called a "jelly cupboard," meant to hold jams and jellies from the fall harvest to last a whole year.
Crafted with square nails of poplar hardwood about 1880, the finish is in very good condition with warm antique patina. The iron and porcelain door latch is original on this American made kitchen furniture.
Size is 42" wide, 16" deep and 58 1/2" tall.
