A Country French fireplace mantel is architectural salvage from about 1790.
Hand carved of wormy fruitwood, this antique Provincial furniture has graceful detailing. Hand hammered iron spikes are visible in the top. The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving warm patina on this lovely antique from France. Removable cross pieces secure this mantel for shipping.
The fire opening is 58" wide and about 42" high, overall size is 6' wide, 9" deep and 53" tall.
