Country Pine Antique 1890 Armoire, Wardrobe or Closet, Austria
A country pine armoire, closet or wardrobe was hand crafted about 1890 in Bohemia, then part of Austria and now the Czech Republic.
The wax finish has been buffed and is in very fine condition, preserving just enough stains, worm holes, losses and shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character. Inside are original carved wood clothes hooks and a later closet pole, shelves could be added if desired. The large lower drawer has hand cut dovetail joints on this rustic furniture, the door key and lock work.
Size is 37 1/2" wide at the crown, 18" deep and 70 1/2" tall, the interior is 14" deep.
