A country pine chest was hand made around 1910 to hold a carpenter's tools, it could be a low coffee table.
The old finish has warm antique patina and shrinkage separations from and plus just enough mars and wear for a little character. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm glow is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Size is 34 1/2" long, 15" deep and 12" tall.
