A sweet country "deacon's" or hall bench was hand carved of pine, maple and oak about 1880. Rugged and strong, the shaped seat is a single plank.

The medium brown finish is excellent with warm patina on this picturesque American antique furniture.

Dimensions are 4' 11" wide, 18" deep, 34" tall and the seat is 17" high.
