Hand-carved of wide pine boards, this very early Victorian baby cradle is a country American classic. Angled corners have hand-cut dovetails, and the finish is in very good condition.
This nostalgic antique baby furniture can be rocked by stepping on the runner while nursing another baby, a historic example of maternal multi-tasking.
Dating from the 1840's, this is picturesque for a real baby or a doll. Size is 42" long, 29" wide and 22" tall.
