Demilune Hepplewhite Console and Game Table

This elegant Hepplewhite design demilune or half round console table from the 1920's opens to a round game table.

Solid mahogany has delicate inlaid medallions and banding in satinwood. The satiny finish is original on the base with a little crazing and antique patina, the tops have been revarnished and are in excellent condition.

Beautiful also with the top raised against the wall, there is a rear swing out gateleg with carved wooden hinge that supports the top when fully opened into the round position for games.

Sturdy American furniture, this classic table measures 35 1/2" wide, 18" deep and 29 1/2" tall when closed, when open in the round position, it is 35 1/2" diameter and 28 1/2" tall.
