Signed "Derby of Boston," this splendid 1900 era rolltop desk is solid quarter sawn oak with raised panels all around.
The deep finish is in excellent condition. Deep drawers have dovetailed joints, there is a file drawer and two pull out shelves. The "S" shaped roll glides smoothly, inside are cubicles and original pasteboard file boxes plus three letter holders. Locks have no keys.
This antique furniture disassembles for easier transport. Measurements are 5' wide, 33" deep, 51" tall, the desktop is 30 1/2" high and the kneehole is 26" wide and 25" high.
