This sweet little bench or stool was carved of solid walnut during the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880.
Incised carving and a "tassel" motif are charming on the strong and sturdy frame. The finish is very fine on this American made antique, newly upholstered in soft fabric.
Size is 21" long, 12" wide and 15" tall.
