A marvelous 1885 era Eastlake period bedroom set includes a queen size bed, marble top chest or dresser with mirror and a bedside table or small chest.
Carved of solid walnut with burl panels and delicate incised carving of the period, drawers have dovetailed joints. Engraved nickel over brass ring pulls are original. The satiny finish is excellent on this well proportioned American made antique furniture.
Expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress as shown, the bed measures 87" long, 66" wide, the headboard is 79" tall including the removable crest and the footboard is 30" high.
The small chest or nightstand has original marble which has been polished and has a few stains and a corner repair, see photos. Size is 33" wide, 18" deep, 40" tall and the top is 28" high.
The dresser has "floating" handkerchief drawers plus a swivel mirror. Original marble has been polished and has some stains, see photos. A key on the center drawer is a handle only, the lock does not work. Measurements are 48" wide, 22" deep and 80" tall.
The similar but not exactly matching chest or bedside table shown in photos is priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
