Elegant and simple American Empire design is represented in this solid chest of drawers or dresser. The rich deep reddish finish on matched flame grain mahogany is in excellent condition. Drawers all have tiny hand-cut dovetails.
This antique furniture said to be made in upstate New York, dates from 1840. Dimensions are 45" wide, 21" deep, height is 52," the top is 45" above the floor.
