An elegant Empire hall console was also called a "petticoat table," there was a low mirror for women to check their skirts. On the back is a maker's signature trademark with the year, "1909." Carved of mahogany with matched flame grain, there are shaped columns.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. There is a little "smoke" in the mirror to show its age. Brass and crystal knobs are original on the drawer, which has hand cut dovetail joints.
Measurements are 44" wide, 21" deep, 41" tall and the top is 36" high.
