A charming little English desktop organizer file from about 1890 has a perpetual calendar. The original finish is very well preserved on solid cherry.

Waxed and polished, so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

The original lock and key work on this antique file. There is a pen rest and compartment for an inkwell plus a drawer below.

Size when closed is 12" wide, 7 1/2" deep and 10" tall, when opened, width is 23" overall.
