English Antique Library, Wine Cellar Ladder

Charmingly well worn, a library or pantry stepladder would also be useful in a wine cellar - it cleverly stretches as an extension ladder to reach top shelves.

Engraved on two signature plates, "Slingsby of London, England," this nostalgic antique dates from about 1910.

Pine with oak rungs, there are wrought iron fittings. The finish is very fine with glowing patina and lots of character - mars and wear from long use.

This strong and sturdy ladder measures 18" wide, 47" deep and 57" tall when opened, fully extended it reaches 8' 10" tall, it folds flat to store.
