Cast of solid brass in England about 1870, this double inkwell set has pen rests and a bell to summon an assistant.

The embossed details are beautiful on this Victorian period antique desk accessory.

One of the porcelain inkwell liners has a hairline crack and chip, see photos. The signature "HP" is engraved on various places on the bottom.

Dimensions of this luxurious inkwell are 16 1/2" long, 9" wide and just over 3" tall.
