A spectacular quality 1860's game table has a chess or checker board plus a gold tooled leather backgammon board as well.
Genuine rosewood has a superb silky finish on this antique furniture from England, the pedestal base has classical hand carved detail.
The inlaid game board top slides and reverses to a plain rosewood cover that is darker than the rest of the table. The inset leather backgammon board has scuffs and losses, see photos.
A strong and sturdy antique, this wonderful library furniture looks like Downton Abbey. Size is 27" wide, 20" deep, 28" tall and legroom underneath is 24 1/2."
