The sleigh bed's history doesn't start in the North Pole unfortunately, but for the Victorians, it was a status symbol and a call back to ancient times with its scroll ends.

- Charmingly carved maple with "antique" distressing for character
- Original crazed varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Cross supports included as shown

Bed size is 92" long and 81" wide. Headboard is 45.5" tall and the footboard is 36" tall. Slats sit 9.5" from ground and the demonstrator mattress is 16" thick. Interior dimensions of the bed frame are 82” long and 76” wide.
