A farmhouse full or double size bed was originally a "rope bed", where instead of metal spring mattresses, rope would be stretched across as a base for a feather mattress

Size is 82.5" long and 50.5" wide with headboard and footboard is 48" tall. Slats sit 17" from ground and demonstrator mattress is 14" thick.
