A charming pocket scale for weighing gold was hand made in France about 1850. The folding iron and brass scale is 7" wide, there are concentric weights in the case.
A walnut case has a tattered international table of weights on the lid, the case has nice antique patina, and measures 7" long and just over 2" wide.
