French Antique Architectural Salvage Wall Clock, Japy Freres #31499

This antique French wall clock movement and metal case is architectural salvage from about 1880. The movement is signed "Japy Freres," or Brothers, "Medaille d'Or," for the "Gold Medal" they won.

Professionally cleaned and oiled, the brass movement keeps accurate time for a week on a winding, striking the hour and the half.

Brass numerals and hands are original on the tin drum case.

Size is 11" across, 5" deep and 14" tall including the removable pendulum.
