French Antique Bronze Clock, Sevres Blue Porcelain, Ram Heads
A spectacular French mantel clock is hand chased gilt bronze with hand painted Sevres blue porcelain mounts and sculpted rams' heads.
There is no signature on this aristocratic antique clock from around 1880. The original brass movement keeps accurate time and runs for a week on a winding, and has been professionally cleaned and oiled. A silvery toned bell counts the hours and the half. The porcelain has raised enamel and exquisite painting.
Measurements are 8" wide, 4" deep and 13" tall.
