French Antique Sideboard China Cabinet

This magnificent French Rococco design sideboard or china cabinet is hand carved of walnut with a pierced shell motif crest. The entire front and sides are gracefully curved, beveled glass panes are shaped and curved.

Brass hardware is original from about 1895, drawers have hand-cut dovetails. The glowing finish has a warm patina and is mostly original. There are a few touchups and repairs to shrinkage separations on the sides, see photos. In the center panel is a gallery to display plates.

Clean and radiant inside and out, this brilliant antique can be disassembled for handling.

Measurements of this stellar antique furniture are 5' 8" wide, 23" deep, 9' 1" tall, the base is 39" high.
