An exquisite 1830's French clock has an "architectural" hand carved genuine alabaster case with delicate piercings and tracery.
A burnished gilt bronze dial is beautiful on this antique timepiece. The brass movement has a silk suspension pendulum, and has been professionally cleaned, regulated and oiled. It runs accurately for a week on a winding, striking the half hour and counting the hour on a silvery toned bell.
There are restorations to the case, mainly on the back side, see photos. Measurements are 8 1/2" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 20 1/2" tall.
The related pair of urns in photos is priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
