French Empire 1825 Gold Dore Pillar Clock

An authentic French Empire mantel clock from about 1825 has a wonderful all original bronze case with genuine gold dore finish.
The finish has wear in spots, especially on the top from cleaning over the years, there is also a ding on the right front shaped pillar.
The hand made brass 8 day movement has been professionally cleaned, oiled and adjusted and keeps excellent time. A delicate silvery bell strikes the hour and half on this classical antique.
The key is modern, size is 9" wide, 17 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" deep.
