The French King Louis XV, influenced furniture design to include both rococo and baroque styles, creating gorgeous pieces like this armoire.
- French antique furniture dated 1904
- Fantastically hand carved of walnut with a beautiful sculpted crest
- Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Minor losses, surface irregularities, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Brass hardware is original
- Working double-throw lock with key
- Beveled door mirrors have "smoke" & spots of desilvering for antique character
- Empty interior could be fitted with shelves or closet pole if desired
- Disassembles if desired but will require expert reassembly
Size is 55" wide, 20" deep and 97" tall.
