French Style 1940's Vintage 3 Pc Bedroom Set, Full Size Bed, Signed Joerns

A luxurious bedroom set was carved in the French manner in the late 1940's, and includes a full size bed, dresser with mirror and tall chest on chest, signed by noted maker, "Joerns Bros. of Stevens Point, Wis."

The original shaded hand painting is preserved with a renewed finish on this American made vintage furniture. Matched walnut burl panels are accented with inlaid medallions of genuine marquetry. Drawers have original embossed hardware and solid oak dovetailed sides.

The bed fits a standard full or double size mattress, the demonstrator mattress and pallet or bunky board are 12" thick together. Using a mattress plus spring unit may cover a lot of the headboard, so we suggest a pallet instead of a thick spring unit. Wood support slats are included. Measurements are 56" wide, 80" long, the headboard is 46" high and the footboard is 17" tall.

A beveled mirror on the dresser has a little antique "smoke" to show its age, and can be mounted with a support as shown or on the wall. Measurements are 53" wide, 23" deep and 75" tall.

The tall chest on chest has a bottom drawer with cedar lid and lining. Size is 39" wide, 22" deep and 54" tall.
