A classic Georgian Chippendale design banquet dining table has lion paw feet and dates from about 1900. There are two matching 30" wide leaves with skirts or aprons. The top is matched mahogany with a border of palisander and ebony, with a carved rope edge.
A superb finish includes "antique" distressing and a few mars, see photos. Solid mahogany legs have exquisite hand carved detailing, there is a center leg for extra support when extended. Brass wheels are original on this grand antique furniture, which is either English or American.
Size is 54" wide, 29" tall, legroom is 24" underneath, length when close is 8' long, with both leaves in place, length is almost 13' total.
Fully extended this table would easily sit 12. Chairs in photographs are priced separately, call or email for availability.
