A magnificent Georgian style square conference or dining table is about 50 years old and has a spectacular shimmering sunburst top with ebony banding. The satiny finish is superb.
Signed "Custom Made by Trosby of Sussex," England, it was created for a hotel. The substantial "birdcage" base has reeded columns and cast brass feet and wheels.
Removable for transport, the 1 1/2" thick top has an iron superstructure underneath for commercial use.
