A late Georgian bookcase dates to the mid 1800's and has mostly original wavy glass and shelves that adjust by sliding them into grooves. The front is mahogany with raised panel lower doors, sides and back are fine grained oak.
The finish has wonderful patina and is very fine with some wear and mars at the edges, see photos. On the back, hand-dovetailed cross pieces are secured with hand-cut rose head nails.
Classic lines are beautiful on this hand-crafted English antique furniture, dimensions are 51" wide, 14" deep and 6' 8" tall.
