Georgian Vintage Carved Mahogany Dining Set, Table, 3 Leaves, 8 Chairs
A traditional Georgian style mahogany dining set from about 40 years ago includes a signed "Berkey and Gay" table with three leaves and eight chairs. All pieces are tight and strong on this vintage set.
Newly upholstered, the chairs have lost their signature labels. Legs are classic ball and claw design, the deep satiny finish is excellent throughout.
The table has three original 11" wide leaves with matching skirts or aprons, a pair of center legs give extra support when opened. Size is 43" wide, 29 1/2" tall, legroom is 24 1/2," length when closed is 64" and with all three leaves in place, length is 8' overall.
Two armchairs are 25" wide, 24" deep, 40" tall and seats are 19" high, six side chairs are 23" wide.
