A cast iron shield from the later 1800's is deeply embossed with a scene of knights in battle and similar motifs around the edges.

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this antique plaque from Germany, signed "Gesetzlich Geschutzt," meaning "Protected by Law or Copyright."

Measurements are 25" tall,18" wide and 2" deep.
