Gold Curved Glass Curio Cabinet or Vitrine

This outstanding curved glass curio cabinet or vitrine is all original. The hand-painted scenes on the "bombe" lower panels are beautiful. The artistic painting of a courting scene is subtle, and the carved and pierced crest is exceptional. Original from the 1920's, wavy glass is curved on all three sides.

There are only small mars and touchups to the opulent burnished gold finish and shrinkage separations from age, see photos.

Antique furniture masterfully hand crafted in France, this is as beautiful as they come. Key and lock are operational. Size is 34 1/2" wide, 20" deep and 5' 10 1/2" tall.
